Name derivation:
'Geijera' after the 17th century Swedish botanist J.D. Geijer and 'linearfolia' linear leaf
Distribution:
Grows on sandy and clay soils, rocky limestone, flats and edges of salt lakes.

Plant description:
Erect much-branched shrub or tree, 1-3 m high. Leaves linear-oblong, 20-50 x 3-6 mm, glabrescent. Inflorescence a many-branched dichasial cyme, 1-3 cm long, petals spreading, ovate, 1.5-2 mm long, white, green. Flowering August-October.
