Name derivation:
Amphibromus from the Greek 'amphi' meaning about and 'bromus' a grass genus; near the genus Bromus. Sinuatus from the Latin 'sinus' meaning curve and 'ata' meaning possessin, referring to the sinuated apex of the lemma.
